Privacy notice
Last updated
This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website at wall.education. Wall Education's software, when it launches, will be covered by separate terms for schools.
Who we are
Wall Education Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16628978. Registered office: 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are the controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this notice at hello@wall.education.
What we collect
If you register interest in the launch webinar, we collect:
- your name, your role, your school and your work email address;
- the assessment framework you selected on the page, if you selected one;
- the date and time you registered, and your IP address, which we use to stop the form being abused.
If you do not use the form, we do not collect personal data about you. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To confirm your registration, invite you to the launch webinar and email you about the launch. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website working.
We will not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell them.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the website and send email: our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email provider (IONOS). They process the data only to provide those services to us. The page also loads fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash, which means your browser connects to their servers and shares your IP address with them, as it does for any website that uses them.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration until the launch and the launch webinar are over, then delete it unless you have become a customer or asked to hear from us. If you ask us to remove your details sooner, we will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. To unsubscribe, reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails. For anything else, email hello@wall.education. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This website is for school staff and is not intended for children.
